The tour to the Uros islands leaves at 8:10 from the hotel, where a mini bus picks you up to bring you to the harbour. After about half an hour to 45 minutes you reach the first Uros island. The guide will tell something about the history, the way of life of the people on the islands and about the flora and fauna on and around the islands. After the explanation you have some time to walk around, take some photos, or make a small trip with a "totora" boat.
The trip from the Uros islands to Amantani takes about 2 and a half hours.
