(TWO DAYS TOUR) The tour to the Uros islands leaves at 7:30 from the hotel, where a mini bus picks you up to bring you to the harbour. After about 25 minutes you reach the first Uros island. The guide will tell something about the history, the way of life of the people on the islands and about the flora and fauna on and around the islands. After the explanation you have some time to walk around, take some photos, or make a small trip with a "totora" boat.
The trip from the Uros islands to Amantani takes about 2 and a half hours.
At second day the trip from Amantani to Taquile takes about 1 hour, On Taquile, we walk in about 20 minutes up to the plaza, where you have a few minutes to walk around. When the group is complete again, we go to one of the restaurants to have lunch. After lunch the guide will explain more about the typical culture of the inhabitants of the island, their clothes and way of living. Before we go back to the boat, you have some more time to walk around on the island. At 4:30 pm the boat arrives in the harbour of Puno and at 4:45pm the mini bus brings you back to the hotel.
